Generosity

clean up bucket suppliesWe have 20 cleanup buckets packed and ready to be shipped. They will go to the Church World Services receiving site in Little Rock, Arkansas. From there they will be sent out as needed. Already, 250
cleanup buckets have been sent to Longmont, Colorado.

Thank you to everyone who helped us respond so quickly. Thank you to the UTM students who shopped for the supplies, and assembled the buckets. Alexis, Anna, Ashley, Brandi, Brionna, Gage, Kali, Kendra, and Terrance helped us quickly complete the project. Can you imagine how long it would have taken Robin Last and me to shop for over 580 items? We were surprised to discover that reusable cleaning towels were the hardest items to locate. We bought every available package in two Walmarts and two Dollar General Stores. The students were a joy to work with and we hope to offer other hands-on mission opportunities for UTM students throughout the school year.

Thank you to everyone at Trinity who contributed funds for the buckets. We received $700. Thank you to Marvin Holley and Michael Pape for donating buckets and cleaning supplies.

Thank you all for being so generous and willing to give your treasure, talent, and time. Thank you for sharing with others. Thank you for being rich in good works.

Peace,

Lee

As for those who in the present age are rich, command them not to be haughty, or to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but rather on God who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. They are to do good, to be rich in good works, generous, and ready to share.    1 Timothy 6:17-18
